IOLTA Grant Allocations
IOLTA GRANT APPLICATION - ALLOCATIONS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027
The grant cycle for FY2027 IOLTA grants has now closed. The next grant cycle will reopen in February 2027.
Each year the board of the Delaware Bar Foundation receives, reviews and meets with grant applicants to determine awards and allocations of IOLTA-generated funds to eligible nonprofit Delaware organizations. At meetings in May 2026, the Board recommended the following IOLTA Grant Allocations for Fiscal Year 2027 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027) that were approved and awarded by Supreme Court Order dated June 2, 2026:
Community Legal Aid Society, Inc. (CLASI) $2,377,791
Delaware Volunteer Legal Services, Inc. (DVLS) $648,203
Legal Services Corporation of Delaware, Inc. (LSCD) $980,000
Delaware Law Related Education Center (DELREC) $183,000
Innocence Project $35,000
Right to Representation Outreach $10,000
The State of Delaware allocated a total of $1,000,000 in FY 2026 to the Bar Foundation through the Administrative Office of the Courts for legal services to the those affected by poverty. The Bar Foundation allocated the entirety of the funds to CLASI, LSCD and DVLS.
