Planned Giving

To help carry out its mission in the long term, the Bar Foundation has created an Endowment Fund managed by the Delaware Community Foundation.
Making a planned gift is a wonderful way to show your support and appreciation for The Delaware Bar Foundation and its mission, while accommodating your own personal, financial, estate-planning, and philanthropic goals. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with various gift options, and discuss these options with your personal tax and financial advisor. The Endowment Fund does not compete with the annual Combined Campaign for Justice, which is the annual fundraising drive to benefit DVLS, CLASI and LSCD. Rather, the focus of the Endowment Fund is on long-term, planned giving.
Our Mission
The Delaware Bar Foundation was founded in 1981 as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. A copy of the Foundation’s tax exempt IRS determination letter can be downloaded from this page.
The mission of the Delaware Bar Foundation is to improve and to facilitate the administration of justice in Delaware. Since its inception in 1981, the Bar Foundation has dedicated itself to providing funding for legal services for the poor, promoting study and research in the field of law, fostering knowledge of citizenship rights and responsibilities and enhancing public respect for the rule of law.
